  1. These are the squash I was asking about earlier. The ones that had
been under the dining room table. <G>

Jill's soup recipe calls for two large butternut squashes, to total 4
    pounds.

I just weighed these puppies. They're 5 pounds each! I live in the
land of Paul Bunyan, ya know? These were locally grown.

The large ones I bought at the grocery store later were 4 pounds and
3-1/2 pounds. I can make four batches of squash soup with what I have
on hand. Gotta get more freezer containers. LOL!

Gotta go take my blue ox for a walk.

ROFL! I can just picture you walking an Ox! Oooh, maybe I can turn you on
    to oxtail soup! (giggling)

.... when I was at the grocery store last week a woman in line ahead of me
had butternut squashes that were the size of small cukes. Oh dear, how sad
    🙁

Dinner tonight is country fried steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes and
    steamed sliced rounds of zucchini.

Why did you make an obscene gesture with those poor squash? :-)

This reminded me of something that has absolutely nothing to do with
cooking. Ya know, when I had my mastectomies, I opted out of the
tattoo and stuff to make them look more real. We're going to check out
the tattoo shop in town and see what it would cost to have water
faucets tattooed where the nipples would have been, labeled HOT and
    COLD.

Yeah, Crash and I are weird, but I think that would be fun!

I like your sense of humor. Warped, but cool.

Nowadays they are offering immediate reconstruction on mastectomy with
    implants.

It could probably still be done by a skilled plastic surgeon if you
want, and insurance generally covers it in these cases.

    Cheers!

Yeah, I've got the implants (a very bad hack job). I just didn't want
the tattooed areolas or however you spell it. I was also offered
nipples, but didn't want that. I've spent my life trying to hide those
damned things. Now I don't have to. <G>

I sure wish I'd had a skilled plastic surgeon when the work was done.
I think it's too late to have insurance fix what she did to me.

That's the good thing. I have essentially no feeling in my falsies.
And on my sides and parts of my back. When I came home from the
hospital, our lab jumped on me, and I didn't feel a thing.
