all you need. You will not be the only cyclist to be so abused.and eventually
they will be nabbed!

It would have been nice to have been able to go to the Vehicle Enquiry

overstretched and without winesses there is nothing they can do. As
for DNA, I just wanted to wipe that muck off as quickly as possible,
besides I doubt whether they' d use expensive lab resourses on a case
as trivial (in the grand scheme of things) as this.

The railways have issued spit kits to staff because of the number of
such "trivial" incidents.

Definitely do it. Even if the police cannot do something about this
specific incident it brings the car and occupants to their
attention. The police certainly cannot do anything if they don't know
about it.

of them will give the above basic information for free. The RAC is one
