Had another puncture today (Gatorskins, puncture resistance? I don't think so) still, no problem,
got all my stuff. Except... the nut that holds the valve was seized! Bugger. You might want to check
your own little nuts while it's warm and dry. Just a thought. Ride carefully.

By the way, as theres been all this rampant talk of tyres and punctures I'd just like to say that
I've found the Schwalbe Blizzard Sports that my bike came fitted with have lasted me 2k miles with
one pinch puncture and one normal puncture. I suspect the pinch one was due to shoddy fitting of the
tyre in the factory as it was in the first week I had the bike. Other than that no probs at all. The
rear one needs replacing soon and I'll probably get another or the same.

Well, you see, it's winter, and up here, north of the border, its /cold/, really, really cold.

I've had to add two items to my toolkit - you know, for those days when when the energy drink goes
right through you - a magnifying glass and a pair of tweezers.....

I've been lucky weatherwise -- no snow yesterday, e.g. -- but the wind is atrocious. I managed 15
miles yesterday before giving up and warming a can of soup
