$150.... which airline and how long in advance was it booked? In any case, it's a possibility.... VirginAmerica flies from the LA area. There's no chance of getting a flight into NYC immediately, but she could book a return flight.

I think it was Jet Blue at least a week in advance. I didn't get all the details but was shocked to learn the price was half what I paid one way to Denver. OTOH, I know spit about flying, having only done so once in the last 30 yrs. :P

If they're fraternal, it isn't karma, it's genetics. Fraternal twins run in families. If they're identical, no one knows what causes the split.

I checked http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/ , the social security administration's page on baby names, and see that William was quite popular last year, in the top 10. Gavin is a surprise. Before 1954, it didn't show up on the top 1000 list. Since then, it has been gaining steadily in popularity until last year when it ranked 38. I didn't go to school with a single Gavin. In another 6 years, elementary schools will be filled with them.
