We need Wesley Clark to run for Prez!!

America needs new leadership in the White House. Unfortunately, none of the current Democratic
presidential candidates has what it takes to defeat George W. Bush in 2004. But there is one man who
does: General Wesley Clark.

Wesley Clark has demonstrated leadership and achievement throughout his career, with particular
expertise in foreign policy. Consider his qualifications:

** NATO Commander during Operation Allied Force in Kosovo

** Successful businessman

** Respected foreign policy analyst

** Graduated first in his class from West Point

** Rhodes Scholar

General Clark's combination of foreign policy and homeland security expertise, coupled with his
strong Democratic beliefs on domestic issues, make him uniquely qualified to win in 2004 and serve
as our nation's next President. His agenda is a refreshing change from the previous three years of
the Bush Administration:

** Rebuilding strong global alliances and restoring effective diplomacy; America cannot succeed
in fighting terrorism when alienating itself from the rest of the world

** Maintaining a strong military, but using it only as a last resort

Disclaimer: I was in the USAF, in Europe, while Gen. Clark was SHAPE commander. As a lowly
flightline NCO, I had no dealings with him...never met him. He may well make a good POTUS or VPOTUS.
But let's do consider the whole thing.

The real question is, did Gen. Clark, while he was in Europe, get a taste for european-style bike
lanes? And will he strive to institute them her in the US?

He claims to be heavily in favor of increasing environmental protection, but I don't know anything
more specific than this. He certainly will be greener on these issues than Bush. I'm not sure where
