Nonsense, you should be able to get a good two seasons out of a 1.05kg Dedacciai U2 frame set!
And the Golden Gate was officially opened on May 27, 1937, and so has been standing for 66 years and 6 months, or 266 seasons. So, by your own admission, a modern lightweight frameset has significantly less than one hundredth the lifetime of the Golden Gate Bridge.
