Ok.
That bolt pulls the crank onto the BB spindle. In theory, if you've
done it right and tight enough initially the bolt is doing absolutely
nothing now and can be removed. (In practice I wouldn't advise it)
Then you need a crank extractor. That screws (hand tight only) into the
crank (basically the hole that you want to put your socket into to get
that nut undone) and then there is a central bit that tightens down and
presses against the end of the BB spindle. As you tighten it the crank
is pulled off the spindle.
You can then remove the BB using a bottom bracket extraction tool.
Depends on the BB but is probably some sort of splined thing that fits
into the BB and then is turned by a normal spanner. (But it doesn't
have to be a splined thing and no doubt different BB manufacturers use
a different pitch and depth to their splines)
Reassemble in reverse order - watch out that you don't cross thread the
BB, they can be very tricky to get in straight.
Then put the cranks back on and tighten up HARD[1]. I suspect that that
is a square taper; if it keeps working lose and you keep tightening it
up then the crank _will_ split. Check very carefully for hairline
cracks radiating out from the corners of the spindle (especially on the
side nearest to the frame - which is hard to look at) if you've already
been doing this.

cranks/bb.
