Whats Chain Suck ?

Yep that's it. You may need to replace your front rings.
The new chain is hooking on the teeth that have been worn
to the old one.

I've never thought of it like that before. Thanks... I'll
never be able to look a chainring or chain in the face the

Yes, Mr. Chain does sometimes get a few kinks when he
does this.

...hmm, yes that sounds likes a front mech problem to
me, but definitely could be related to the new chain
and cassette.

Typical chain suck is when your chain will not release from
the bottom of your front chain ring. This causes the chain
to wrap around and get stuck.

No, here's the solution that has been tried and true.

Remove all but 1 cog from your rear cassette.

Use only 1 front chain ring.

Remove derailleurs.

Voila/Eureka!
