What's your cycling resolution for 2005?

* Be a little braver and trust my skills on rocky downhill terrain.

* Ride more regardless of the weather.

Be able to hold 26 MPH for one hour.

Beat my friends at the cycling club really good.

Get sponsored by Powerbar, Michelin and /or TREK

Get good at sitting on someone's wheel (I can't comfortably get closer than 3 feet away).

20 mph for one hour (I could do 15 at the end of the season last year).

50 miles in < 3 hours.

unleash the fury a bit more often if someone tries to nick a good wheel off me and of course win a few more races

Cycling Goals for 2005:
  • Continue training at a level that won't cause a respritory infection
  • Continue training at a level that won't kill my knees
  • Improve my personal best solo 50 mile time (currently 17 MPH)
  • Set a 1 hour solo personal best (have no ideal how fast/slow that will be)
  • Build up a set of 20" guns! (currently 18 3/4")

-First and foremost, to quit spending so much damn time online.

-Second, to get out and ride at least 4 times a week. I want to get in good enough shape where I can do a few races in the spring and not completely embarrass myself.

-Third, to keep a detailed log of my rides.

-Forth, to complete my first century. A maybe some more throughout the year.

Those are the main ones...

To ride farther, better, without collapsing after. Speed is not important (well not really), its all about quality of mileage.
To get a job that I can ride to.
kevin
ride safe (but dont forget why we're out there)

Use the new lighting setup as soon as it's comfortably warm out.

Ride more. Averaged 5 days per week last year.

Finally get my 7 year old to not be afraid on a bike so he can go out with my 8 year old & myself.

Maintain what I am doing and find a way to get "A HELL OF A LOT YOUNGER"!

More miles, more miles, and then more miles..... probably in that order.

Maybe do my first century.
