This is my first post so hopefully I'll get it right, I have spent the last week or so reading as much of this site as possible...wow loads of info/help etc. 20 years since I used to race and so much has changed
Now I have found a set of wheels for sale and have tried to find more info on them (weight etc) but to no avail so I come to you asking if you can help. Wheels are advertised as:

A pair of Cosmic Mavic Deep Rimmed 700cc Tubular Race Wheels. a high polish finish,.....//....The front wheel is a 16 spoke radial and the back wheel is 16 spoke two crossover with a Dura-Ace 8 speed 12-21cassette. I believe the Cosmics will take either a Shimano or Campag block and will take a 9 or 10 speed block.
Any help anyone can give will be very much appreciated, thanks in advance
What specifically would you like to know? I don't believe that the wheel would take a 10 speed cassette, you might be able to squeeze 9 onto it though. What are you looking for in a wheel? I personally stay away from Tubulars, but I don't race. Those have a very low spoke count, what size are you?

A shimano compatible hub will not take acampy casette unless the hub body can be changed to campy. There are aftermarket casettes that are campy spaced and with on shimano compatible hubs. Do you really want tubulars?
Many thanks for the input, what I was looking more to find out was the age and weight (if possible, I know that you can only go by advert).
I'm still thinking about these for my training bike (when its finished), but I have just bought a pair of BONTRAGER RACE X LITE 😄
I was looking at Tubs as these were what I used to race on and I do love the feeling that they give, I was looking for Shimano fit anyway, as for weight I'm 155 give or take a couple of lbs.
