  1. Hey all,
Im a first year university student, 5'9 about 155 lbs. I have been
working out regularily at the gym for about 2 months and i still havent
really noticed a difference in my muscle mass. I live in residence at
school so i cannot eat as much protein as i'd like. Do you think i
would benefit from taking a form of whey protein after every time i
work out? Would this help me gain muscle mass? Are there any other tips
of things i could do to help me gain muscle?

    I can see why.

Why not just let your friendly residents deposit their semen in your
    mouth? It's all you need.

    Take it up the butt.

  3. Jay,

Whey protein is OK in order to get additional protein in your diet,
however the key to good muscle growth is more dependant on your
workouts and more importantly how much you rest. Over training is the
#1 reason for lack of muscle growth.

Develop a good workout with an emphasis on using compound exercises,
good form, lots of variation from workout to workout, plenty of rest
between workouts and a good diet (including some whey).

You won't see too much change in two months but stick with a good
program and you'll notice results in 5 or 6 months.

How much protein would you like to eat?

  5. How long should i rest between workouts? Like 1 or 2 days?

  7. if you're in college, you should get a meal plan and make sure you're
eating at the all you can eat cafeterias. when i was in school, they'd
have breakfast burritos and other high calorie items starting at 7 am.

the problem is that you probably don't eat enough, rather than you're
    not getting enough protein.

do yourself a favor and don't fall into the supplement trap 'cause
    supplements are 99% garbage.

if you're hell-bent on buying a protein powder, then isopure is far and
    away the best choice.

also, read some books on the subject of bodybuilding because you might
    not be working out effectively.

lemme know if you need any recommendations on good books.

  8. To build muscle, work them hard, using weights that only permit you to
do 8 to 12 reps per set, but make certain to rest them between workouts.

As a rule of thumb, if the muscle is still sore, don't work it again
just yet. If you split your workout, you can workout nearly every day
    with less danger of overtraining.
