[font=Times New Roman]Sometimes a foot can go numb, because of something simple. Your feet swell while riding, if you have you shoes on too tight (they may not feel tight when you first start riding), when the foot swells the blood circulation is cut off, and parts of the foot can start to go numb. It’s as simple as reaching down and loosening a strap on the shoe(assuming your shoes have straps). If this is the problem, your foot should feel much better within a few minutes.[/font]
[font=Times New Roman]Or, it can just be you cleat position. I found that I’m the most comfortable with the ball of my foot about 1cm ahead of the pedal axle.[/font]
[font=Times New Roman]I use Look A5.1 pedals and Sidi shoes on my road bike. And I use SPD pedals and MTB shoes on my MTB and tandem. I try to have the same position of the ball of my foot on each set of pedals.[/font]
