I don't know that it matters to motorists. How many times have
motorists SEEN the bicycle and just assumed that it would
stop/slow/turn in plenty of time to avoid an accident - so they cut it
off regardless of visibility issues.

auto-targeting terawatt laser on a 360/270 gimbal that would
autovaporize cars, trucks and SUVs operated by people talking on cell
