  1. Well, I weighed in this morning, with the usual trepidation. It took a while for the scales to
settle - but after three consecutive identical readings - I weigh the same as last week.

As you know, I've been eating more this week, and although I didn't lose any weight, I didn't gain
any either. Lately, the weight has been just creeping on - so to not gain feels pretty good really.

And considering that I've had a cold for a week, that my period is late (don't panic - that's just
the way I am), and that due to all the gym/swimming I'm doing my shape is changing (more muscle one
presumes), I reckon that's all pretty good really.

So, I'm going to carry on with my new regime for a while longer, and see if my efforts bear fruit.

Hey - even if the scales don't change - if the body continues to become more toned and shaped, and
maybe even smaller - that'll be a good thing.

  2. Good job on maintaining. I'm in the same boat as you. Same weight for the past month but I have lost
7 inches thanks to Curves. Are you recording your measurements too? If you are toning up and can see
those results then that is a good thing.

  5. Maintaining is great Krys! Like you said, at least it wasn't a gain. Hope you lose next week!
    Good luck.

That's great Krys. You didn't gain and maybe next week you'll see a nice big loss. Keep up the
    great work :-)

  8. Hey, maintaining IS good - especially since you have said that your previous weekly weighins had
been showing increases. You're on the road to something. <g> Heck, you might have had a loss anyway
and just be retaining fluids from that icky cold ... along with the PMS issue. Changing shape and
measurements are the best indicators anyway. Clothing can't lie or fool us.

I'm thinking the eating more might be just what you needed. It will take a few weeks for the body to
decide you aren't starving yourself and let go of some of the excess. Keep the eating up and you
    should start showing losses again.

  9. Hi Krys, you are doing SO well, and you are SO right... hey even if the
scale doesn't move you are still getting healthier and stronger right?
That's most definitely a good thing. 🙂 Keep going!

  10. Nope - not measuring. Really wish I had back before I started all this.
These days my jeans are my tape measure. They're feeling a lot looser,
hubby says my shape has changed......so I guess those measurements will have
    to do me 🙂

  11. Staying the same is fine!! I've pretty much determined that as long as I'm exercising I'm healthier
