Wow, crazy stuff ... I wanted to buy a couple of new rims, decided to buy some lube, a couple of water bottles and any other dry stuff to make it up to £50 .. they've broken it into three orders ... the last being a 4oz bottle of lube sent seperately ...
(It was broken into three orders .. two water bottles and overshoes .... rims 2-3 days later ... 4oz lube arriving in another 2-3 days .. huh?)
I'm glad I'm not paying all the postage on this ....

I find Wiggle overpriced. If you get the discount for ordering > 100=20 UKP, they cost only slightly more than Parkers.
What did you get? Last order I got from Wiggle came with these Xstals energy sweet things that look like Viagra and seem to be an extra-concentrated dose of caffeine and sugar. Quite weird. <URL:http://www.xstals.com>

You are probably better off without them. If they sent you some you'd be tempted to eat them which is Not Pleasant (tm). Even my tame sweet gobbler (son no. 1) refused a second.

I find Wiggle with good price and service, but would of course like to know of other good or even better alternatives. I tried http://www.parkers.co.uk/ but i seemed to be most focused on cars, so I have probably guessed the wrong URL?

I've spent so much there in the past year, I get a 5% discount on everything. -- Simon Mason Anlaby East Yorkshire. 53°44'N 0°26'W http://www.simonmason.karoo.net

If they give good enough discounts, then maybe a few people could club together, place some humongous orders and _all_ get much bigger discounts .. I need a whole new bike for son No1 and some new forks for me .. 😉
Nor me, either. I got some free socks on Tuesday, though - I'd been ordering some stuff which came to £97, and if I pushed it over £100 I got an extra 5% off. So I had a quick surf around and found some £5 socks, and the bill _still_ came to £97!
Oh, and they are "Tangy, crunchy sweets with trehalose, caffeine and guarana" ....
Trehalose is sugar by any other name. Anyway, they seemed to give me a bit of zip when I took two packs while out on a ride a few weeks ago. Can't say they match up to the old sherbet lemons in the taste department though.

*smug* I get 10% on everything.
Just don't ask how much I've spent there this year though...
I spent a few quid with them when they were Butler Cycles in Southsea. Bit annoying really, they closed the only good down-to-earth shop in Portsmouth and moved it to the top end of town (with an expesive refurb) while still shipping Wiggle orders from the back room, and then they closed the shop completely. I haven't been there a while but the other shops in Portsmouth just didn't cut it.

They're quite revolting. DW liked them, though. DD also had one (before we noticed they had caffeine in them), and really, really wanted more.
