Brush on glue, dust on fine iron filings while glue is wet. Leave to rust.

I really had to struggle not to go for the Moulton. I will definitely
buy one in the future when my living arrangements change. Again there's
the locking up issue - I understand that the uninitiated say "shopper",
but it is still a lot of money to lock up, and a Moulton is one of those
things you just can't disguise as something else. BTW, Moultoneers are
lovely people.

I have gone to quite a lot of trouble choosing and upgrading the various
components on my current bikes and I can transplant these to my new
Dawes easily. The gearing in particular is something I thought long and
hard about. Also, try fitting a 700c wheelset to a Moulton! (;

Thanks to everyone who has given me advice.

Spray it pink and put some horrid flowery decals on it (Halfords
sometimes have them). On second thoughts, that might have kitsch appeal.

What's up with your landlady?

She doesn't want his bikes in her garage. So he has to sell them. Personally
I'd put ht elandlady on eBay rather than the bikes but he obviously has some
reason for staying put where he is.

Maybe buying a garden shed would be a good thing..

I'd have loved to have found a new landlady, or indeed a shed, but it
isn't always that simple. Wouldn't have got anything on ebay for her.
Wouldn't be able to keep her in a shed either. <-;
You're also right in that I adore my bikes and am having a very hard time
parting with them. Been playing around with my MTB all weekend - wondering
if I can keep it in my bedroom without messing up the house. So far I have
got rid of the Raleigh (or at least it is on sale in Cyclezone in Reading
- £200 for a bike with an Ultegra wheelset, plug plug) and the Claud
Butler is being collected later.
That leaves one other "pub bike" MTB (the quality of which belies its
rather ragged exterior) - think a mate is having it, and my current Galaxy
- haven't recieved any offers, so will be listing on ebay later.
BTW, the s**t is really going to hit the fan when I get home with another
Galaxy tonight. Wish me luck!

Garages are about £50 a month where I live, I can't really afford it.
Unless there's anyone else in Reading needs more storage and wants to
split the rent?
To be honest, I've already got rid of a lot of my stuff, so soon won't
need one. ):
