I've been thinking about joining WW. My question is how high
in pounds do the WW metting scales go.

Ours go well over 300 lbs, but I am not sure the exact
weight that they go up too. I would think it would be
400lbs though.Debbie

The standard scales go to 440 lbs. They also had 1 scale
that went to 540 lbs. Ray

I know at least 350 from some that are in my meetings... I
think it is in the 400 range. This is not funny but there is a person in another meeting
that said they put two scales and then added for a member
there. From what I have heard that person is now on 1
scale..... Do not know how true this is.Charlie

they have done that with public weigh ins, they are very
brave - braver than me! More power to 'em, that's my view!

I can agree with you, but I do not have anything to prove
the story. If it is true... Congrats on the weight loss...."Kate Dicey" <[email hidden]> wrote in

The way we got the starting weight for me was on two balance
beam scales. The doctor had me keep my weight balanced so
that one stayed balanced at 300 lbs and then he adjusted the
other til we got a total weight. It wasn't really very
accurate, but was somewhere in the ballpark.Ray

Thanks for the info I weighed 330 on Saturday. I've lost 90
pounds on on my own. My friend has done great on WW but I
didn't join with her because I was afraid at 420 at the time
they wouldn't be able to weigh
me. I've heard of people having to weigh on 2 scales then
add the numbers together. -
Keep up the loss. I am proud of you!!!
