Yakima Mightymounts on Jeep Cherokee

HAs anyone used the Yakima Mightymounts to mount a Yakima rack to the factory racks on your Jeep Cherokee ? I am wondering, since the factory rack is curved or bowed, do the mightymounts compensate for the curvature, or does your bike sort of lean to the outside. Those racks are not to robust, I am just thinking that if the bike is tilted a bit it might add stress to the rack....TIA
