When I started riding 12 miles to town from the country-burbs, my landlady thought I was misguided.
When I sold the car 4 months later, she thought I was nuts; how could I survive without one? Very
happily, thank you.

Now that I only commute about 7 miles each way, the only thing I really miss is the 12 mile commute.
I was buff!
