I think it is this: a bike lane was striped on the road outside her
house, and she is getting her own back for this atrocious infringement

You can have bike identification without impossible plates.
I recollect from my far-off student days Cambridge requiring me to
paint an identification number onto my bike. That was OK on the mudguard.

Wouldn't meet the "so as to be plainly readable at a distance of not less
than ten feet" requirement of her bill. Since her excuse is "to make it
easier for law enforcement agencies to hold reckless cyclists accountable",
the visibility matters.

While I dislike the merkins as much as the next man (Often more!), I
think that the above sentence makes as much sense with the reference to
nationality removed. Bush is a moron, but Blair is clever enough to
