Call You and Yours is on the cycling towns of excellence,
and how the money should be best spent.
There is a mobile studio bus in York twon centre also.

Quentin Wilson just on R4, saying something like the money
should not go to tree-huggers.
I expect to hear some contributions from the gallery here.
Tree huggers or not. 0800 044 044

20 mile commute to work impossible.

Then the next person on says "20 mile round trip to work is impossible"
"Cyclists should pay road tax"
Grrrr....
I even phoned in to say there was no such thing as road tax!

I submit that on or about Tue, 18 Oct 2005 12:55:43 +0100, the person
known to the court as John Hearns <[email protected]> made a statement
(<[email protected]> in Your Honour's bundle)
to the following effect:

I was on the fern and next in line, but they went back to Darnton
instead. Ho hum. The name David Martin rang a bell, and there were a
couple of other very sensible cyclists on.

Not me.. I've been incommunicado getting to a meeting (had a nice ride
in the mancs rush hour today ;-) and am only just back online.

FWIW I used to do a 32mile round trip with kids in trailer in the
'renkowned as flat as a pancake' country of Norway.

Glad to hear I (and many others) are "achieving the impossible" by
cycling more than 20 mile round trips to work!

Just listened on "listen again"

Q: What would you spend a million pounds on for cyclists
A: make them pay road tax, stop them jumping red lights, yada, yada,
yada

Actually answering the question, repeated several times: it's far too
dangerous to cycle on the road, cycles and traffic don't mix, spend the
money on cycle paths away from those dangerous roads.
