| It's lube you dolt.
Apparently you didn't see the old TV ads during the 80s "Motor Oil is Motor
oil" the guy said as his bomb car spewed blue smoke everywhere. Baby oil
will lube, why don't you slather some of that on your bike.
| Do you think that the chain makers use a different
| material on chains destined for the aftermarket as
| opposed to the OEM chains that they supply?
|
| The bikie manufacturers require that the chains be
| coated in a lube.
They use the least expensive stuff that will do the job. They also don't
have a consideration for the condition their product is used in.
| The fact that you're puzzled by whether the lube
| is a lube is frightening. Especially (once again)
| as someone who purports to work in the bike industry.
A lube isn't a lube. White Lightning is a lube but I think it performs like
[censored]. WD40 technically is a lube and it's crappier still. What part of you
self-important swelled head can't comprehend I want a *specific* lube?

I responded, I didn't waste any time searching your other playground

| A good one.
Not in my book. I've used glues less sticky.

| It lubes the chain.

|
| Very well, assuming that you actually ride your
| bike and take a break from playing with your dolls.
Petey boy, I also have collected fine pipes, model railroad, 1:48 scale
military aircraft and have dabbled in writing science fiction. Why don't
you make fun of that too. Or maybe you spend too much time looking for
felching pictures.

| As well as many lubes.
Uh uh. One ride and it is black!

|
| That's funny that you're so obssessed about your
| chain lube.
So Petey boy, what do you put in your car? The no-name [censored] at the 7-11 or
a quality motor oil that will preserve your investment? Last time I looked
you bike seemed to be worth several times what mine is. Interesting to know
you don't give a [censored] when it comes to taking care of it. Or maybe your
precious camera is the only thing you care about.
The cracked chain I took off was stripped and treated with Pedro's when it
was new. I forget how old it is but SRAM hadn't bought out SACHS when I put
it on. It's older than the computer on the bike at the moment and it reads
over 4500 miles. Seems like 10 minutes of work really had a nice return.
You've spent more time proving your a puffed up toad responding to me than I
spent changing the lube on my chain.
