I'll say this much for you though... I've read about people like you
before. Racially and religiously intolerant [censored]. I'll bet you're
all for rounding up every American citizen that also happens to be
Muslim,
putting them on a barge in New York harbor and sinking it.
Don't put any ideas in my head. What you suggest is not a bad idea,
though
way too rough for the ever squeamish American public, which has been
totally
brainwashed by the liberal media.
I don't for one minute believe you capable of supporting such an action.
Just as I'm sure you don't condone the treatment of the Jews under
[censored]'s Regime.
That is what is known as hyperbole. When you suggest something crazy, then I
will go you one better. I will not allow anyone to get crazier than me.
Quoted message said:Quoted message said:No, we will have to be TOLERANT of them
even if all they ever want to do is to cut our throats while we are
sleeping in the night, all in the name of Jihad.
"Jihad" in the Quran refers to the internal struggle we all face as God
fearing people. The Quran does not condone the slaughter of innocents,
suicide, murder, or terrorism. The Bible doesn't either. God gave us the
freedom to choose between "right" and "wrong", "good" and "evil". Christ
taught one simple message. Love yourself and your neighbor as you would
your God. I believe *that* should be the basis for America's (a Christian
nation's) foreign policy.
A Muslim is as a Muslim does. Of course, they are not all as crazy as the
extremists, but the point remains: they do not adequately condemn their
extremists. They leave the very strong impression that they do not mind all
this killing as long as infidels (you and me) are being killed. I do not
believe Islam is a peaceful religion at all. I believe exactly the opposite.
The Koran as you read it is irrelevant. What matters is the way they read
it.

Quoted message said:Then you only profess Christianity. You don't practice it in your daily

I do not even profess to be a Christian, but that is my heritage and I do
not see any reason to disown it. It is the only universal religion that is
suitable for all mankind because it has evolved from its origins. The other
religions of the world are mostly an abomination and Islam especially so.

Quoted message said:Quoted message said:Quoted message said:The question was "sarcastic". The millions of dollars the US Government
is considering expending on a Missile Defence System would be better
served in providing housing for the homeless and disadvantaged. When's
the last time you donated your time or some of your hard earned cash to
helping others??
You are conflating one problem with another, as if there is any
relationship
between the two. But liberals like you would rather have a welfare state
than any state at all. Good thinking, Frank!
Helping the disadvantaged is what you call a "welfare state"?? What's
your solution?? Put the poor and the homeless on the same barge with the
American Muslims, Eddie?? Damn!! That's thinking with the sheet on...
I only like to discuss one issue at a time. The problem of a just society is
entirely different from the problem of how to defend your society, just or
otherwise.

Quoted message said:Quoted message said:Any fool can believe anything he wants to but he can't act on it. That is
why
we have laws - to constrain people from acting on their idiotic religious
beliefs. And
then we put them in prison if need be. That usually is enough to awaken
even
the dullest moron regardless of his idiotic religious beliefs.
Care to explain the situation at "Bountiful" then?? As for "any fool"
wanting to "act" on his religious beliefs... How exactly do you prevent
someone bent on immolating themselves and as many innocent bystanders as
possible from blowing himself up?? Do you seriously believe it's *really*
"safe" to fly these days??
We are living in very dangerous times indeed. I do agree with you about
that. I can easily see America coming under siege the same way Israel has
been under siege for the past generation. I do not want to see that happen.
Therefore, I am strongly in favor of tracking down and killing all these
Islamic terrorists as quickly as possible.
Most of the present Arab regimes must be democratized and secularized too as
they are the breeding ground for that type of thinking. Once they can have
normal lives like the rest of the world, there will no longer be any reason
for terrorism. What really makes them dangerous is that they could possibly
get their hands on nuclear weapons. Then we will truly be living in the "end
times."

Quoted message said:Quoted message said:Ever hear of Martin Luther. I mean the first Martin Luther, not Martin
Luther King.
Funny you should mention him. I was baptized into the Lutheran Church
(Missouri Synod). I'll bet you had to close your eyes when you typed
"King" (knowing how you must feel about black Americans).
Read some good secular histories of Martin Luther. Even for us Catholics, he
is a seminal figure. He marked the beginning of reforming Christianity known
as the Reformation. It led to lots of strife but it was necessary. The
Church was a medieval institution and it needed to be brought out of that
era. If the Church (Christianity) had not been reformed, we would be no
better off than the Muslims are today.
I will let your remark about blacks slide for the moment since everyone on
this group knows me to be an equal opportunity slanderer.

"Christianity" is a simple religion with a very simple message. There
isn't *anything* sophisticated about Jesus. He was a carpenter for
pete's
sake.
You are confusing Jesus Christ with Christianity. They are not one and
the
same.
If you've accepted Christ as your personal Saviour, and follow his
teachings, you are indeed a *Christian* by every sense of the word. Being
a "Christian" is probably one of the more challenging ways of life but I'm
sure even you are up to it.
Quoted message said:If the Greek and Roman World had never taken hold of Jesus, it would
still be a minor sect and probably on the order of Islam - a simple
religion for simple minded people (like you).
If the "Greek and Roman World had never taken hold of Jesus", they
wouldn't have been burning heretics or fought the Crusades. It's "Romans"
like you with your "skewed" vision of what a "Christian" is that's been
responsible for the atrocities commited "in His name"...
There is no solution for this kind of ignorance other than reading secular
histories. If you confine your reading to sacred histories, you will forever
remain in the dark. But the dark can be comforting and the light of day can
be cruel. I will leave Frank to his comforting religion as I would leave a
child to his fantasies.
By the way, the Crusades were a very necessary reaction to the Muslim
aggression on Christian Europe. It was far more defensive than offensive.
Christian Europe could easily have been destroyed if the Muslim conquest had
succeeded - and it almost did.
From my standpoint there's no
Quoted message said:difference between your intolerance of anything "Islamic" and Bin Laden's
hatred of anything "American". Do you *seriously* believe that Bin
Laden's plan to attack the American "icons of power" had anything to do
with *religion*?? You're an idiot if you think so.
The Islamic aggression on the West has everything to do with religion and
almost nothing to do with anything else. Until one and all realize this, we
are in mortal danger. They mean to kill us (you and me) and the only thing
that will stop them is to kill them first. That is what war is all about.
Stop reading the Bible and start reading some history books.

Quoted message said:Quoted message said:To think that you know all about a religion

At least I've read the book and know what Islam is fundamentally all
about. You've based your entire argument on heresay and supposition. That
marks you for a babbling idiot of the worse sort.
I am basing my argument on the way Muslims have behaved in world history and
specifically on how they behaved on 9/11. They are an ignorant primitive
people and they think and act like the savages they are.

Quoted message said:Quoted message said:You will not defend this country against the Muslim enemy when we are at

with them.
Point out the "Muslim enemy" we're "at war" with!! My point (through this
entire debate) has been that the *Terrorist* doesn't wear identification.
That the "Terrorist" may not even be *Muslim*. Terrorists have a specific
agenda and when that's based on a skewed ideology, then they're doubly
dangerous as well as insane.
All the terrorists are Muslims and most all of them come from the Middle
East, mostly Saudi Arabia, ever the home of Islamic extremism. Their
religion is what motivates them and nothing else. Who do you think the
terrorists are?

Quoted message said:Quoted message said:Quoted message said:> Defeat and humiliation. Is that what you want for America? That is what

Yeah... I suppose for Bush having to admit he was wrong about Iraq is
pretty humiliating... Wait a minute... He hasn't said that yet even
in
light of all the evidence "concocted" by the "intelligence community"...
We've lost over a thousand brave men to his war on Iraq. I wonder how
many died believing they were fighting "terrorism"??
We have lost over 40,000 Americans killed on the streets and highways due
to accidents this
past year. As a good Christian you ought to be wringing your hands about
all
those lost souls and maybe trying to do something about it - like
outlawing
vehicular traffic. But Frank only cares about a measly 1000 American
soldiers who died for a noble and just cause.
I care for the soldiers that fought and died for the great lie. When Bush
stands before his Maker (as I know he will), I wonder if he'll demonstrate
the same "bravado" he's shown the American People spouting the lie about
how Iraq was a "danger" to the US and World Peace. Heck... I *still*
don't know which is more "accurate"... GB or an Iraqi "Scud"...
Quoted message said:He doesn't care about 40,000 getting killed on the streets and
highways for no cause at all. Good thinking, Frank!
You're comparing highway deaths to the carnage of war. Interesting.
Yes, it is interesting. I have always noted how fools like you who are
against war make a big issue out of every war death whereas others are dying
all around us every day for one stupid reason or another. I do compare
deaths with deaths. The difference for me is that we are accomplishing great
things in Iraq and Afghanistan and doing something for the entire civilized
world. Those deaths in war count. Most of the other deaths in this world
(highway deaths in particular) don't count. They are just stupid - like you!
By the way Frank, do you know how to edit a post I wonder. It is not
necessary to respond to me line by line. That marks you as a dunderhead with
no ability to discriminate between what is important and what is not
important. Note how I edit you.Think before you write, why don't you? Also,
you are way too scatter brained. Try to get some focus, why don't you? One
last point: these posts of ours are way too long. No one will read them
except you and I. I want to be read by others, not just by you. I assume you
want to be read by others too. So let's see if you know how to shorten your
posts.
