anyone out there wear non-perscript eyewear as a matter of habit? i've not
raced in a pair in a long time...but i generally like to wear a pair while
training. ...i actually have commonly worn eyewear to protect against all the
[censored] that tends to lodge in your eye while spring/summer/fall training.
foliage debris, bugs, etc. i've been wearing Bolle 784 rogue dual lens
sunglasses, before that it was H2Optix Serengeti glasses.
i really like the changeable lens type to calibrate for conditions. never had
a pair of native eyewear though and just ordered a pair on-line at reioutlet.
this is no commercial or product placement effort on my part...just looking to
share what seemed to me like a real good deal on a pair of quality glasses well
suited for runners. you'll see on reioutlet's homepage their 'deal of the day'
is for native eyewear nano squared polarized glasses. got'em for $40 shipping
included. they seem to have all the right features for us runners (anti-fog
design, adjustable nose supporting...etc..)...best of all though you get 3 sets
of lenses with them...including a clear set for night running. the extra
lenses though don't seem to be polarized.....however i do like slipping in the
red lens on my Bolle glasses.
i know some runners who've spent $100-$200 on a pair of non-perscript eyewear.
the most i've ever dropped was $50 on a pair. anyway....if you've been
considering a pair...you might want to check out this native deal w/reioutlet.
campmor of course always has decent deals on glasses too. again, never have
had a pair of this native brand before....sure hope they work out. i do see a
lot of runners race in eyewear as a matter of habit though...anyone on the ng
wear non-perscript eyewear like this?...training and racing?
