RW: Before jumping into treatment, try to figure out the CAUSE of your
Achilles injury. Try the Cause of Achilles tendon injury page of
www.AchillesTendon.com which I found very helpful. Once you figure out
the cause, then move on the the treatment, don't jump right to people's
treatment suggestions. Phoebe.

usually falls into two categories, biomechanical and/or overuse, and
verify any advice via web pages or a doc before treatment. There is a
lot of variability in caring for an injury and what works for one may
not work for another. That's a good web page for everyone to bookmark

a repeat injury. I firmly believe in finding the cause of an injury first, then
concentrating on fixing the cause. By the time you do this, you'll be healed. -

Naw, it's HOW you are running that's causing the problem.
