baffi, furlan. bartoli is the exception. even italy-based russians are
following suit, konyshev and tonkov on LPR ?

it was a crime that cipo wasn't at the 2002 tour. he was a disgrace in
the 2003 GW throwing bottles at the moto commissaire (the video kunich
says to check out) and getting dropped by his team in the vuelta TTT
before bailing on his "free" spot at the worlds. not to mention talking
trash about doing the pursuit at the olympics.

disappointing years before retiring after 2003, which sounds about
right. The lack of an official retirement announcement is a
