I recall someone recommending the Chuck Taylor All Stars Sneakers for squatting.
I have a couple questions as I am thinking about ordering a pair.
Do they run true to size. I have read conflicting reports ranging from true to size to a full size too large. I wear a 10.5 and can only choose between 10 and 11. Does anyone use these and give me suggestion.
IMO, Get the larger size. Better too long than too short. I hate the cramped toes feeling.

Also should I get the hitop or low top.
High top. They look goofy enough. The low cuts are worse. Why should I care? I don't really, but I could do with out the pointing & funny looks I get at the gym.
Get them anyway or at least some flat shoe. It made a difference for me.

Yes, it's the shoes that get you the funny looks. You keep telling yourself that, if it helps 🙂

My CTs do seem to run a bit bigger than my Nikes or New Balances. Maybe because of the "flatness".

Mine run smaller. I usually wear an 8 or so in street shoes, a 7.5 in New Balance running shoes, and my CT's are a 7. Strictly low tops for me - my high-instep feet mean I have to do a lot of lacing and unlacing if I wear high tops.
I wore mine to my last two (which is also to say my first two) powerlifting meets - they work great. I get mine from http://www.lastpairs.com

How can you get into size seven if they run *smaller*???
Uh, I dunno. Whatever, like, you know, I mean, aw, foo.
