Thanks - Just spent a while looking at Wiggle after doing a search.

Only trouble is, I'm getting envious, especially of all those lovely gadgets
and shiny things like multitools.

All I wanted was some basic stuff, now I want a Topeak Alien DX, and some
expensive lights, and a really good wireless computer etc.....

Why wasn't I warned thay cycling was so addictive & expensive? (And I
haven't even bought the new bike yet - Probably be tomorrow if the LBS is
open)

I'd have thought it was worth reporting the ones that don't to ebay. In
fact, I think I'll do just that.

I was thinking you'd set yourself an impossible task as there are thousands
of the sodding things on there. However, if enough people send in reports,
they might do something about it. OTOH, they make money from the listing
fees, so I guess there isn't much incentive for them to sort it. I've
emailed in a complaint to Ebay Customer Services though.

Not necessarily. The thing with eBay IMX is that someone starts
selling something, makes a killing and then lots of other people think
"Ooh, I can make lots of money" and jump on the bandwagon, swamping
the market so that in the end nobody makes anything as nothing sells.

I used to sell old bus conductors' ticket machines and I did, quite
often, make a killing compared to what I felt they were worth. Others
saw that and swamped the market [1], and when I see what some go for
now I'm glad I stopped. I'll save the rest for when the bandwagon has
run off the road. ;-)

[1] I'm not claiming that I started that market, but it is a fact the
market didn't get swamped until after I started regular selling and
making a bit of pocket money.

Yes, it's much less inconvenient for ebay to ignore only 1 complaint
per abusive listing. It gets to be a real drag for them to have to
spend all day ignoring multiple reports of spam listings.
