  1. Just for fun post your "Crappy Driver" quips. I know several but will start with a couple and please add on.
Maybe it will help relieve some of the pent up hostilitity toward them.

You might be a crappy driver if:

Stop signs are merely a suggestive warning.

You ignore "do not enter signs" because you don't believe everything you read.

You might be a crappy driver if...

-Your chastizing the girl in the car in front of you while she is putting her makeup on and going to slow and your driving with your knee and eating your breakfast and drinking your OJ.

You'd like to have your cell phone surgically attatched to the side of your face....

  4. you live in the cayman islands

  5. You are a female of asian descent...

Edit: nevermind, after I hit the post button I saw the word "might"

  6. In all seriousness, a nice book on motorcycling says that if you honk or get honked at on a regular basis, you're not a good driver. it clarifies by explaining that if you can't read traffic well enough to need to honk regularly, you aren't driving well. getting honked at is self-explanatory I hope.

  7. There's the posted speed limit, then there's your speed limit.

Your left turn signal has been blinking since you bought the car.

You can't be bothered to give a turn signal, since you have one hand on your coffee and the other holding your cell phone.

You always drive in the passing lane on the interstate, even though you're traveling below the posted speed limit. You only move out of the passing lane when you reach your exit... and you wait until the last minute to swerve across several lanes of traffic to reach it.

And from a cyclists standpoint (this happened to me just yesterday)...
You drive right behind a cyclist for a half mile or so, even though the road ahead is clear. You finally decide to pass the cyclist on a blind turn, just as several cars come around the turn from the other direction. So you swerve to the right and force the cyclist off the road. Nice, very nice... 🙄

Hey come on now, they have speed limits only because of bad (i.e. not me) drivers.

I made the mistake of asking someone why once (they got very defensive), but here in Brazil for whatever reason, in addition to leaving turn signals on long after turning (or intending to and never doing it), it is quite common for people to signal right then turn left and vice-versa...habitually.

This only seems to be a problem in the US, however I think it should earn a fine at least equal to or greater than what all the speeders being held up will earn later down the road. How about when one truck going 48mph up the mountain decides he really needs to pass the other one going 45mph as you approach from behind going 75mph...only to have both trucks slow to 35mph (side by side) with the lane blocker getting back over on the down side BEHIND the truck he was attempting to pass!

Or how about when a bus/truck passes you and fails to realize that you are still beside them when they move back over with the same result?

Only thing worse is the [censored] that have to gun it past you only to slam on their brakes and turn right in front of you forcing you to take evasive action to avoid hitting them.

  9. If you have a rebel flag flying from the back of your jacked up, rusted out, oil blowing, Chevy pick-up truck 😎

What if it is a Ford truck?

  11. I had a pair of jacked up old chevies with rebel flags drive up to me at a light once. Both drivers were in red flannel and both trucks honked dixie.

That is north of Philadelphia PA by the way.

  12. ford, chevy, dodge.. in south carolina they are all the same

  13. If you live in Victoria, Australia!!!!

  14. You have both hands off the wheel, one on the cell phone, the other brushing your front teeth.

  15. If you live in Metro Atlanta.

Connie, I recently spent a little time in New Jersey. Country music, cowboys, farmland. What happened to Tony Soprano?

  16. you have trafic court on the 21s for driving off the road.

I let my employer manipulate me into drivng when I was in no condition to drive.

Should have called off sick and knew it.

Now I have to go to court again for a accident that happened in febuary.

So we can all be crappy drivers if we are in no condition to drive.

Fellow christians please pray that I recieve mercy at my court date.
