If it was never published, how do you know about it?

Perhaps Anth was referring to the research that Linus Pauling did that he personally tried to suppress. That must be what he's talking about, because, as you pointed out, Anth wouldn't be aware of it, if his allegations were actually true.
(No I was referring to recent research that is 'going' to be published) Ant

The beauty of the Internet is that anyone can publish their works for most of the world to read. Its pretty hard to suppress anything.
Now, as for getting it published in a proper, peer-reviewed journal requires that the studies be performed with adequate controls. Bear in mind that the Vitamin C foundation has a vested interest in this research. That's always evil when we are talking about pharmaceuticals, but is somehow valiant when done in the context of vitamins.
Vitamin C is freely available and anyone wanting to apply for FREE MONEY to study it can write the NCCAM (sp?). Sounds like a very powerful conspiracy, indeed!

Frankly, I am very tempted to try to get something of my own authorship published in one of these peer-reviewed journals. Perhaps, some kind of commentary? -- John Gohde, Achieving good Health is an Art, NOT a Science! http://NaturalHealthPerspective.com/ The ONLY Frauds in Health are those who couldn't care less about prevention.
