  1. Exactly!!!
My diet is much more interesting now, as well as being higher in fiber.
    :-)

IMHO fiber is what makes you feel "full" on less food and fewer calories!

Huh. My monotonous diet of mac & cheese, ramen noodles, chicken

I think I read somewhere there's something in having smaller portions of
more complex flavors that makes you feel full faster than a big dish of
all the same flavor. It tricks the brain somehow.

I play video games and troll usenet. ;-)

Oh! You never troll usenet right? <smirk>

I also do some digital art.

Looks like it's time to do more research then, thanks!
Due to the starch (and fart factor), I'd never been much of a bean
eater... even tho' I like them.

Black soy beans lack the starch (soups made with them won't get thick)
and the oligosaccharides (complex sugars that intestinal flora digest
and convert part of to gases) that cause the tuba-like expressions.

    <giggles>
They are still high in fiber tho', but you are right. They are not
producing a significant amount of gas.

Fiber removes cholesterol from your digestive system, it says here on
    the bean box.

I was not referring to boredom in general, but boredom with eating the
    SAME foods all the time!

The best and most nutritional diet for any organism consists of VARIETY!

    Cheers!

Um - what? The vast majority of critters on this planet have either very
limited or completely restricted food sources. Everything from a flea to
a blue whale contradicts your assertion.

It would, Cellulose, you know. But be careful you don't offend your
    friends afterward.

I can see little critters running out of the woods holding their noses,
