I'm seriously craving carbs. I've been waking up at night to eat and
not getting good sleep. So last night I ate some brown rice before bed
and that kept me down, except one wakeup call at around midnight when I
ate a bunch of blue diamond almonds**.
I'm realizing I need to eat carbs during the day. I read on the atkins
site that I should probably have around 60 carbs a day in maintenance
mode, so that's what I'm shooting for. However, I'm at work today and
all I have available is cherries* (eating them right now) and a can of
corn*. How bad is corn in the scheme of things? Would it be better to
have a granola bar* from the snack machine?
I'm 18 days post-op from my BA surgery and feeling damn fine. Fine
enough to go for a jog tonight. Actually NEED to jog or something
otherwise I'll be waking up at 3 am. It's a fine balance of carbs and
exercise. Damn.
*not low-carb
**not low-carb the way I eat 'em!
