  1. fat people are pathetic they plough through diet magazines whinginging at the end that there even fatter than before. we all know you ahve to exercise and stop eating like pigs. soon enough you will lose weight. then they dare too sue mcdonalds for making no fat free alternatives WHAT THE HELL, dont you know what is fatty and what isnt. they complain that there discriminated aginst when infact they have control of this. racism or sexism is intolerable but paying out a fat person should be encouraged as much as we are encouraged to frown apon smokers these days. i think if youre body fat index you should be banned from driving a car and attending fast food resturants youre only form of transport is to run walk or ride and they should heavily taxed.

JUST AN OPINION. who's with me, who's not!

  2. holy [censored]...god help us..

whats this sentence all about? perhaps you should rephrase it to make sense.

  3. Some people are fat due to genetic problems. Other through mental probalems (eg Prader-Willi)

Although I agree that some people are just fat because they eat [censored].

Billy Connoly makes a good point about having fat people having a slow metabolism... he replies "aye, and a f***ing fast appetite too"

Although I do believe that you should learn to speak English properly. A good old rant on the soapbox is far more likely to generate a healthy debate if people can understand what you are saying.

Shame there's no tax on stupidity....

Illiterate people! Why can't you spell correctly!

Just a comment on something I have heard is that obese people usually have a fast metabolic rate and therefore a healthy or unhealthy appetite.
I have said it before and I'll say again exercise and not eating everything you see takes a little effort.
A little effort is usually more that most want to invest.

Some of his/her spellings are almost correct but he/she uses the wrong word....Must be due to the cheese wiz sticking to his/her keys....

That's only half the equation. While my diet now is quite good, I used to eat a LOT of [censored], and yet my weight has not changed.

It's a simple equation - if you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight.

Diets (alone) do not work. Isn't that obvious? Regular exercise is the only way to keep your weight in check on a long term basis.

  8. You can always buy yourself a t-shirt that says "I beat anorexia".

  9. 😠 shut up about my lack of literacy. i was in a hurry to go to dinner to eat my low fat pasta!

why low fat pasta? are you on a diet? are you fat?

  11. Pasta's already low in fat, you must really need to loose some weight 😄

i think i can see maccas problem here...

he/she/it is the one that is obese...his hate for other fat people is simply the manefestation of his own self loathing...by calling others fat and lazy with bad lifestyles and diets, he really is trying sort out his own hellish life....

    are we right macca?

you should probably seek some professional help with your eating disorder, see if you can lose at least 50lbs in the first year and take it from there..

also investing in a dictionary might be a wiser lifestyle option.

    low fat pasta indeed.

have you tried low carb beer and chocolate? i have heard it sheds the pounds!

    classic...😄

  14. no mountain pro, I am not fat. why would i criticise the fat community if i was fat, my thread may not have made sense but neither does youre statement.

macca -😎 not as cool as this smiley in real life!

of course your not fat, that why you stuff your face with diet products...

(he's in denial, a classic symptom of obesity)

Thats one thing that makes me laugh... "low carb pasta", if you are on a reduced-carb diet, why eat pasta?

Whenever I'm shopping I see people stood by the cream cake aisle in Tesco, checking the calorie content... if you are counting calories - DON'T EAT CREAM CAKES!! Sometimes I just want to slap them with a wet fish 😠

  17. You know regardless of the fact the original poster seems to be illiterate, I happen to agree with the message. I am a US citizen and have witnessed first hand the BS most of these people tell themselves to make it socially acceptable... I don't care if your metabolism is slower than mine, that you eat a salad for lunch (with a 800 calorie Blue Cheese dressing), or that you only eat low-fat chocolate and ice cream... you only get fat by consuming (or rather ingesting) more calories than you burn... even if you adopt a healthy lifestiyle for 3 weeks and then you stop after not seeing the 50 lbs you put on over the last 10 years magically come off, please just accept this simple fact instead of making excuses!

I also get irritated by how it isn't PC to comment on other peoples eating habits in any way... I mean if I say something like I wish you wouldn't smoke because it is bad for you or geesh buddy I think you may have a drinking problem, everyone around will agree with me and it will be seen in a constructive manner. If I say you need to change your eating habits and exercise because you are way overweight and live on greese, I am a jerk. I don't think anyone would bat an eye at someone who was a functioning alcoholic that was marginally competent getting fired for his drinking, but if you fired someone for being too fat (doesn't fit in the office, eats stinky food all the time, health risk, etc.) you would be under a lawsuit so fast it would make your head spin.

Fat people... can't change 'em, can't shoot 'em.

man, you know exactly what i am talking about in my chocolate and beer thread.....you head to tesco with the wet fish and i'll take my halibut to asda, see who can slap the most...

where i work i come into contact with a lot of young women 18-25...the ultra skinny ones are always standing there with a can of diet coke....

these people are just as bad...

That is why it is advisable if you are going to drink , drink until you throw up A LOT. As a matter of fact puke until you reach "dry heave'" mode.
That way you can purge yourself of the unwanted calories and get the bonus of not remembering the crappy things you said to your friends.
    Win-Win situation.

I sooooo understand. A relative of mine who shall remain anonymous makes excuses about eating constantly while eating and then frets about the excess weight. All the justifications for overeating bug me so much I hate to eat with this person anymore.
Oh, I don't eat this very often
Oh, but it tastes so good (I don't think I've ever heard this person say something didn't taste good for that matter)
Oh, I'll just take a little bit (and a little bit more and a little bit more.....)
Oh, I'll just take this for later
Oh, I woudn't want to waste it, its too good
I know I shouldn't have this (stuff like butter on bread or sour cream) but its just a little and it won't hurt right?

It just makes me want to scream - what does this person want, me to say its OK, go ahead kill yourself with food, at least it'll feel good right now?!?

For a small minority its a medical issue, but for great numbers of people it's all about self control and will power. Delay the instant gratification of putting something in your mouth for the better gratification of feeling good and being healthy. Learn to like to eat things that are good for you! Learn to like exercise (I feel like [censored] if I don't get enough)
I don't think I was ever really overweight, but I understand how you can get there. Certainly after getting out of college and working at a full time desk job I did start to put on a bit. If I had continued on I would have gotten to be overweight. Making some changes in my diet, exercising more and being in control - not eating until I am stuffed all of the time and not eating [censored] food - and I've taken it all off again - back to my college weight and I think I am probably even more healthy than I was then since now I have to work for it. I have a more healthy diet, get more exercise these days and I don't feel deprived at all.
