Map a route on one page.

and printouts. Many century ride route maps appear to have a lot of
additional hand editing to add or emphasize important details.

Streets and Trips, for example, allows you to attach labels to anything,
such as streets. Those labels remain visible even if you zoom back so far
that the streets themselves disappear.

Don't know if it will work better, but have you tried with google maps?

I don't know of anything like this, so I'm asking here.

Mike, I'm not affiliated, but try:

http://mappoint.msn.com

....and when you find your area, click on the biggest of three square icons
at the top. This gives you a much bigger scope than most other map pages.

Sometimes you can stitch two of those together in your paint program.

Note that the square icons don't work in Firefox. Leave it to Microsoft!

I had already forwarded that site on (even did a route around his house,
just to show off).
This site works only if you are zoomed in close -- in which case for a route
of any length you will be on multiple pages.
