I recently purchased a can of Cream of Chicken soup. I opened the can and was shocked. It looked like cream, but also had chicken in it. That got me thinking. Chickens can not be milked, and cream comes from cows. So that means this soup comes from cows. But hold on..... There's a problem. It's cream of *CHICKEN*. That means either someone found a way to milk chickens, or some cow is sleeping with a chicken and the offspring look very strange, and would be called a "Chicken Cow". Which is it? Does anyone know where they find these strange critters? Or if that's not the case, how the heck do they milk chickens, and would someone please send a picture of the chickens udder.

Check what the word "of" means in a good dictionary. Do the think the bag in "bag of rice" is made of rice? No, it only contains some rice. You bought a can OF cream OF chicken meaning the can contains some cream and the cream contains some chiken. That your buing a can isn't mentioned because it's visibly obvious. For further study also look up the word "pedantic".

Of course you can milk chickens - you just have to know where and how hard to squeeze them.
