  1. I should work on how to use my new camera, I could
take a picture of my refrigerator. If I throw out the
2 week old slice of quiche I have leftover, the lone
leftover piece of chicken, also overdue for the garbage,
I pretty much have bacon, olives, pickles and ... some
    celery and carrots.

Barren wasteland, with good lighting. If I hadn't just
cleaned the thing, this would be a good time. Guess
I'm schlepping out in the rain to stock up.

    Inspiration, please strike soon.

    Pity 'bout that 😉

Well if you have to schlepp out anyway, get some cream cheese, and
spring onions... (I am sure you have some Wooster-sauce)... use that to
make some dip to dunk the carrots and the celery... you could even fry
up the bacon 'till it's crispy, chop it up, and add that to the dip too
    😉

    Cheers

Your fridge sounds like how mine usually is. :~) We're overdue for a trip
to the store, but we have to wait until Wednesday.

It's nasty here. Cold, wet and overcast. I'm not budging. I took a pork
tenderloin out of the freezer yesterday and it's thawing in my overcrowed
fridge. Seems like I buy enough to feed the entire neighborhood when I
shop which is why I have so much spoilage. I forget about something I've
bought and it can languish in the back of the fridge for weeks.

Guess I sent the rain your way... sorry about that! It's been raining cats,
dogs and birds for the last two days down here. I went out to get the
newspaper yesterday and slipped on the walkway. Whoops! Down on one knee
and got a nice painful gash. Ouch. Be careful if you go out. If the
sidewalk is that slick the streets are bound to be.

As long as you're out, might as well buy some eggs and make another quiche!
If I weren't doing chicken a la king this afternoon I'd see a quiche in my
    immediate future.

TFM has no qualms about eating 2 week old food. I think he's got a
cast-iron stomach. He'll eat anything sitting out all night, as well.

Perfect day to curl up with a good book. Not hardly motivated
to hit the shower, never mind go shopping, that's okay.

Would be a perfect day to make stew if I had the ingredients,
I'll get them today and make that later this week. Today for
dinner I see a nice waterlogged ham steak and vegetables (laugh).

Yeah, I hate when I do that, I try to freeze most stuff and take it
out only when I know I'll use it.

But, really ... I should actually *have* stuff in the freezer to take
out and forget. Unless you count Stouffers French Bread pizza,
I'm pretty much out of luck.

Hey, I just found some nice Italian sausage in the freezer, if I can
find good Italian peppers and some bread, mmm, mm!

I'm trying to think of a dinner. I've got chicken breasts and thighs, but
we're really low on money this week because we bought a new car *and* I lent

I'm kind of wanting to do a crockpot thingy, but maybe I'll do a stir-fry.

Hmmm... I haven't made quiche in a bit. I posted a pic of the "twin"
quiches I made awhile back. I want to do a spinach quiche but I'm torn on
which cheese to use. Swiss or Gruyere Cheese, that is the question. Oh,
    and crumbled bacon too.

Bacon, celery and carrots would work for beans if you have any in the
    pantry??? :-)

Olives and pickles would have gone with that cheddar and triscuits!

I'll do it when Steven is working and you can get Alan to go out with
the boys. More for the 2 of us and the cats. The dog hates quiche
    for some reason.

    Michael

I love quiche, but Allan won't eat the crust. :~P You and I will
feast. I'll bring some chardonnay (but *you* can't drink it!).

Bring all the booze you want but I will not partake of it. I have bottled
water and Koolaid to swill down.

    Michael

Sounds like a plan. :~) I'm on the phone with a credit company right now
to "undead" my DH. Of COURSE, no one will tell me any information and they
want him to call. He's working!

Yes, Koolaid is swill... I think you meant swig. hehe
