My Powertap Goes Crazy??

I have a friend who had a similar problem. it turned out his harness was bad. when i had a battery go low, the icon kept flashing. they are very easy to replace. i don't know if a low batt will cause the problem you have, but wont hurt to replace them. i used some big pliers and a rag on the plastic cap, came right off. also could be something internal in the hub, call Saris.

I'd try changing both the hub and computer head batteries, just to rule them out. The PT Pro hub uses two N type batteries. To get to the batteries remove the two hex head screws that hold on the cover. The two N batteries often pop out when you pull the cover up. It's a good idea to also lightly grease the large O-ring on the hub before you replace the cover. Also, do not over tighten the two screws (7 turns max)!

My HUB is definitively dead.. :-(
I've tried two different PT CPU and bike cradle.. I've tried changing Hub batteries but never changes.
So I think that the HUB has a problem :-( I write to Saris, expecting a reply!!

my friend i have exactly the same problem.
i thought maybe the batteries causing the problem. i replace both the hub and the unit batteries with no luck.
i email saris two days ago but i didnt get a response.
if i send the hub for repair from Europe (Greece) to U.S by the time i get it back the summer will end 🙁
