Prediction after TT

I think Evans is going to be the big upset. Last year he proved to be pretty strong on the long TT, and he's having a better season in '06. Julich could be making a move as well.

Fothen was already U-23 World Champion in Time Trial. He also finished in the Top 6 or so in Time Trial in last year's Giro. Therefore I think his performance was to be expected, or at least not a big surprise. The real interesting question is how he will perform in the mountains. He is a good climber, but by no means an excellent one (yet). I think he could make Top 10 in the end, depending on his shape.

The real surprise was Sinkewitz, who is known as an average Time Trialer. If he is in Time Trial that strong, I expect a lot from him in the Mountain Stages. He might very well be T-Mobile's joker.

He never used banned substances, he was enough talanted to beat armada of dopers with Jan, Basso, Beloki, Rumsas etc. Isn't it?

The person he hurt the most was himself. He lost wages, sponsorship, became mentally unsound, had an alcohol problem. Like Millar said: "You have to touch the bottom to come back up". If you have no faith in born again cyclists and are so sure that riders are doped then why do you follow the sport?

Sorry, but stories like that during the most serious doping scandal in sports are just a joke.
If he is here for titles he will have to dope because it is impossible for non-doper to beat doper. Be realistic that those 7 or whatever percents achieved by doping is just too much for "clean" rider.
I can tolerate that my favorite rider has been banned but I can't tolerate that dopers return.
