In article said:Just looking for opinions on what people like to run to if they listen to music on their daily
runs....
Right now I created my own Best of AC-DC. It seems Heavy Music gets me going, but I am always
looking for more ideas...
Would love some recommendations!!
Thanks
If you're looking for something heavy with a steady beat:
Mortal Kombat Annihilation original motion picture soundtrack.
Hard hitting, and great for exercise.
However, it also gives you the urge to run really fast which is not always a good thing. For really
hard speed work or a race, I'd really prefer to just not have any music at all.
For an easy run, I prefer something a little more relaxing. Robert Miles (trance), Jocylyn Pook, Jon
Jenkins , (atmospheric new age stuff), etc. When I'm not running, I'm a big fan of jazz, but I don't
think of bebop as running music. I suppose Miles Davis's more spacey experimental stuff might work
(e.g. [censored] Brew) My MP3 player is fairly new, so I'm still experimenting with the music
selection.
Cheers,
