Yeah, seen the C2M info already - cheers anyway. My wife has friends who live off Don Rd so we drove up it a couple of times & I thought it looks like one to try sometime.

Yeh I was happy with my TT and the sunday road race was good fun but I busted a spoke on saturday so spent all afternoon trying to limit my losses😠 One other thing though, don't take the results too seriously; Blackburn managed to do everything perfectly (considering the amount of traffic on the circuit, [censored] of corners to man, angry police to deal with) except the results...

Yay, bring on Preston, 130+k of handicap fun😄

Actually it was the Mersey Valley Tour - 4 day series, Nathan Earle won it. Didn't pay enough attention to the article, so not sure what the women's race was, doesn't seem to be part of the national series however.

If Cycling Australia was serious about a multi-day Aussie tour (the TDU isn't quite there in its current format), I reckon Tassie would be the ideal place for it - good roads, minimal traffic (and therefore minimal traffic disruption) and some challenging terrain.

I've had the pleasure of being lapped multiple times by Nathan in some crit's a couple of years ago. He's got natural talant the bastid. He used to come on bunch rides with us occasionally. Didn't realise he was racing with Praties now.

You realise of course the rules of engagement as to what qualifies as a STAN the further south you go.
Even a few of us viewing a map of tassie could count. :p 😉

If we go by what qualifies as a STAN amongst you lot, then the mere fact that you read my post counts. 🙄

I live in hope that one day a STAN ride involving bicycles and actual riding may take place.
