Maple Syrup with Splenda

I think that's why they label themselves as "pancake" syrup now. They
don't have any maple at all. And log cabin is lemony. If I'm buying a
pancake syrup I get aunt jemima. But we don't have pancakes or waffles
that often, so I usually just get real maple.

Is that what it is, I remember saying it tasted metallic. That was
way, way back when I was a kid.

My bil made 'maple syrup' once when we were visiting. Not sure
exactly how, but I think he just made simple syrup and added
maple flavoring. I imagine someone could do something similar
with Splenda.

Hey, people were talking about pancake syrup. I don't
have pancakes, etc. very often so when I do, it's real maple
syrup for me, grade b.

That is not maple syrup. That is artificially flavoured artificially
sweetened syrup.
