Why do I get the feeling that this Contador dude is now the "Chosen One". The Spanish Messiah. The protected Disco LA heir apparent. Yeah and names are accidentally placed on a list that can potentially kill a guy's career. Why not rap him over the knuckles then let him go out and win 10 TDF's for Spain.

I feel the cynicism enveloping me. Please...help me...help...

I think at the time that Puerto broke Valverde was suppose to be the next great Spanish rider. That status might have started shifing slightly with Paris Nice. But going into this Tour, as far as I was able to tell, most of the Spanish still thought that Valverde was their man.

Jörg Jaschke, Contador’s former teammate, and on of the first confessing his doping past, told daily "Süddeutsche Zeitung” that “the police worked well, but appareantly some names leaked and some were removed.

“I also was ten years in the situation of having to lie. I wouldn’t ask him anything because I’m sure I couldn’t accept his answer,” the rider said in an interview with radio “Bayern 3”.

Obviously, Jaschke is being asked about Contador specifically in this case. And he is saying that he never asked Contador about doping. He is also saying that it would be a waste of time to ask Contador or anyone else about such a thing because he himself lied about it for 10 years. That being the case, he feels that you cannot rely on any riders answer to a question about his doping.

So once again we have Trash trying to make something out of nothing.

  3. I'd have to agree with saluki, even though Valverde did only complete (key word) his first Tour this year. 😉

A bag of blood referenced AC was found at the lab : that blood like the rest of the blood has never been tested.

Where do you get the information that a bag of blood marked AC was found?

Actually document 31 - which the UCI claim never to have seen - shows AC and his teammates RH (Heras) and JJ (Jaksche) etc doping schedule for last year's TdF. I'm sure the UCI will 'find' such a document if it means they'll be able to discredit the MJ - a very handing bargaining chip.

Are you pulling that information out of your butt or do you have anything to back it up?

Contador keeps referring to being on the 'wrong team at the wrong time' as if it was all some terrible mistake and he couldn't wait to get away from Liberty and the awful Saiz - a man so dreadful that Contador called him 'my second father'. It was the 'wrong team' for an awfully long time...

Do you have a problem with reading comprehension? He obviously means it was the wrong team at the wrong time with regards to doping accusations.

I like Contador's riding style - he reminds me exactly of a young Richard Virenque, all shoulders and bouncing on the pedals - but no evidence linking Alberto and Puerto? That's the best laugh I've had all morning.

So stop babbling and give us the evidence.

JJ has conceded, as reported in cyclingnews: "But Jaksche added that Contador is the only person who knows about his own situation. "He [Contador] is the only one who knows," he [Jaksche] said."

So, obviously, the corollary is that JJ does not know Contador's situation.

Contadope would flunk the IRMS test on all of his TDF urine samples.

He is a cheat. Believe that.

    What is the IRMS test?
what does it involve & what is tested for?
    who are the IRMS?

No, the conclusion is that JJ has said he won't talk about what other riders did and he is sticking to that.

He knows very well that every rider on the team was doped to the eyeballs.

A leading German expert in the fight against doping claimed on Monday to have evidence indicating that Tour de France winner Alberto Contador had used drugs.

Twenty-four hours after the Spaniard donned the winner's yellow jersey on the Champs Elysees, the expert, Werner Franke, described the 24-year-old's victory as "the greatest swindle in sporting history".

Franke bases his claim on documents he says are in his possession from the Spanish police's Operation Puerto inquiry into Eufemiano Fuentes, the doctor said to have masterminded doping programs for athletes.

"The name of this Mr Contador appears on several occasions on the court and police documents," Franke told German television station ZDF.

"All of this has been simply concealed and hidden under the carpet whilst the name Contador was erased from the list of suspicious riders," added Franke.

He says he has a detailed list of banned products used by Contador which appear in sworn statements following the raid on Fuentes' medical practice.

"He took insulin, HMG-Lepori, a hormone to stimulate the secretion of testosterone and also a product for asthma called TGN - in brief I have before my eyes a protocol for doping," he told ZDF.

"All of this has been covered up, at least in Spain," added Franke.

Contador, who inherited the lead in the Tour de France last week on Michael Rasmussen's expulsion in a row over missed random drug tests, denied he had had any links with Fuentes's drugs programme.

Speaking after Saturday's penultimate time-trial in Angouleme about why his name had been linked to Fuentes he told reporters: "I was in the wrong team at the wrong time and somehow my name got among the documents, but the UCI corrected the mistake and now I've got no link to Puerto."

Among the cyclists associated with Fuentes was Jan Ullrich, the former Tour de France winner.

That is true with every rider.

Like I have said before I don't buy Nike however they do build a good product and seem to have a large market share...there…. that should give you plenty of material to work with, trying to return the favor..

Tim I kinda like your attitude on here, keep going against the "hang em, flog em, then ask questions brigade", I tried for a while but the Doc, Helmutfoole,Bro and other biggots just get so tiresome so ive taken a break for a while. The only thing i disagree with is Nike, the products i have have come accross are generally [censored] 😄 , keep up the good work i might join in again soon when ive recharged.

  12. Can't you just ignore (mechanically or by not looking at them) posts from posters that you don't want to read? 🙂

It has, many times. But the only person that has verified Frank's claims is Frank himself.

    I agree with you.

if Franke has information - he should bring it to the appropriate authorities.

  16. bump 😉

  17. “We can confirm we have received the documents, and they will be incorporated into procedures of the district attorney’s office,” Christian Brockert, spokesman for Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office, told The Associated Press.

Hopefully they will invastigate Discovery and Contador for fraud. Might end any dreams Johan has of finding a new sponsor.

And the appropriate authorities need to validate the documents and release the information to the public. Then we will have something to talk about. Until then it's still only Frank's assertion.

In the meantime, while we are conjecturing about unproduced and unvalidated documents, Frank's statement that he took Insulin, HMG-Lepori, and asthma medicine would seem to conflict with the ZDF documentation claim that supposedly has "AC nothing or the same as JJ" on it. JJ was doing blood doping, not taking asthma medication. Frank's list would not be the same as JJ's list.

Some things that might be relevant.

Isn't the Doc. 31 suppose to be the Tour team from 2005? Maybe the plan was just for that race?

Was Jaksche really ONLY blood doping? I get the impression he was doing it all, but the blood doping was new once he became aquainted with Fuentes?

Also there appear to be other documents than #31 that supposedly contain references to Contador that have already been discussed. Maybe there are even more and Franke has them or maybe he is full of [censored]?

here is the whole quote... you seem to have not included the parts that could be seen as incriminating to Contadore... funny how some people are drawn to certain parts and other to others... i highlighted the parts that i find interesting...

Former Tinkoff Credit Systems rider Jörg Jaksche, who recently admitted to being involved in Operación Puerto, has said it would be a 'reasonable assumption' that Tour de France winner Alberto Contador (Discovery Channel) is the "A.C." listed in the Puerto documents.

"If you haven't been turned into a woman, there was no reason other than doping to go to the gynecologist Fuentes," the German told Süddeutsche Zeitung. "I can say for myself, that I am the JJ in the document 31 and that I doped as stated there." When asked whether the "A.C." listed on the document could be Contador, Jaksche resonded: "That would at least be a reasonable assumption."

But Jaksche added that Contador is the only person who knows about his own situation. "He is the only one who knows," he said.

Contador signed with Manolo Saiz's O.N.C.E. - Eroski as a junior rider in 2002, where he was one of Jaksche's teammates, but the 24 year-old has defended any links with the Spanish doping ring, saying his involvement with Saiz as an employee was merely bad timing. "I was in the wrong team at the wrong time and somehow my name got among the documents, but the UCI corrected the mistake and now I've got no link to Puerto," he said on the weekend.

In another interview, with Bayern 3 radio, Jaksche defended T-Mobile Team, calling Patrik Sinkewitz an exception and saying he would trust the rest of the team. "The most important thing is the test for blood-doping, and T-Mobile is the only team that does that," he said.
