What is your situation with regard to stress, etc.?
I am required to sleep in completely dark room, blocked the windows but still need eye cover),
completely quiet (and nence ear plug), and cold enviornment. Since I like some weight on my chest, I
have to keep
A/C at 68 degree when I was living in Texas. Here, it's cold enough now. I just keep layers of
balnkets on top of the bedspread which I can move to the side if it gets too warm.
Though I am sharing my arrangment, by no means I am sleeping through alright. The days I can sleep
straight through about 7 hours without waking up, which I call quality sleep, is the day I feel most
alert. Those days are rare but I have come a logn way from much worse situation, i.e when I was so
stressed out about things, in my 20s. I DO NOT HAVE diabetes.
By the way, I have read recently not to drink water after 8PM so that one won't be woken up to pee.
I started doing that as much as possible.
I haven't tried melatonin. Does it make one sleep too much?
