Well...I'm going to think carefully about my favorite band(s). But since criticism rolls of the keyboard so easily in this thread...I'm going to make a first bid on the most hated bands with (and you guys may not have got the UK stuff much in the 70's)......."The Bay City Rollers"
What??S-A-T-U-R...D-A-Y...Night!
I bet you don't like Rick Springfield either!

OMG it worked. He's running around like a freak, celebrating now cause he has the cable running through the projector, WITH the surround sound still functional. Only had to go without tv for about 20 minutes. AMAZING!!!! You can tell he's all relieved thinking "phew, that was a CLOSE one." 😄
This is actually when a guy feels like he is the Messiah. When he can solve a crisis like this that even he thought he may have been incapable of doing. If you go up to him now and whisper in his ear that you think he is so wonderful and resourceful and sexy because he was able to do that amazing electronic emergency surgical operation, I guarantee you will get something really good for Christmas....or tonight.😉

You left out an intrigal part . . . drink wine . . . wrap a present . . . drink wine . . . post . . . drink wine . . . . repeat cycle (uh-oh, careful using the term cycle; Cranky will think we're talkin laundry again).
oh yeah that's the only way to go. Just got back from another shopping session, and going straight to the drink wine part....
I'll get to wrapping later

OMG when I was thirteen or so I admit to liking the Bay City Rollers for about a summer... I bow my head in shame
then I moved on to to Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick played Senior Night at Six Flags here, when I was a senior...defining moment...:pHey, what about KISS?
That warrants a mention...LOL..did anyone see the movie Detroit Rock City? Hilarious...about the kids trying to get from Cleveland to Detroit to see a KISS concert in the 70's...too funny. Knights In Satan's Service....:p

I was made for lovin' you baby...You were made for lovin' me.
That song was big in the 70's.

The guy is only the Messiah to himself in that instance though Cranky. I mean, the man does rule the clicker (aka remote) in every household universally, right? Please tell me it isn't just in my part of the world. 😄 -

Hey Edie. Well, I didn't finish my shopping tonight like I'd hoped, so I must head back to the war zone tomorrow. And, haven't even STARTED wrapping all this junk, but that's pretty much par for the course in my house. One thing's for sure. I'll be making a stop at the wine shop first thing tomorrow, in preparation of the marathon wrapping session (hey, priorities:p ).However, I received a hilarious voicemail message from a girlfriend tonight. Calling to see how I was holding it together during this crazy week before Christmas, asking how far into the wine I was and stating that she was 5 glasses into it at 8PM. Drunk dialer, me thinks. :p For some reason, our husbands seem to think we're a bad influence on each other. 😕

Yes...the remote control...and the steering wheel of the car...and the BBQ griller.
I was just letting you know when you had the power to get anything you wanted from him. A Southern Belle like NNS might understand me, though I may be wrong. Saying the words I suggested, would be the equivalent of (I'm going to guess a bit here) your man telling you after you tried on a new outfit that you look gorgeous, hot and sexy. Now of course I'm talking about telling the truth here. If you don't appreciate him fixing the TV then don't lie of course.

I've been laughing my ass off all day. Is anybody familiar with Jonathan Lee Riches? The guy is a comic genius.

Isn't he that guy in jail who has filed frivolous lawsuits against multiple celebrities. Was there a show on today about him? -

My most hated band ever - Depeche Mode. His voice grates on me and makes me want to scream.I'm with you on that opinion.
Other voices that grate on me...
Krueger from Nickelback
Adam Levine from Maroon 5
Bruce Hornsby
Springsteen
Air Supply (Russell Hitchcock especially)
over 50% of all country singers

Yeah. Here is a synopsis of some of his lawsuits: http://news.justia.com/cases/jonathan-lee-riches/
He sues people, things, phone numbers. All of it is biting sarcasm. What a genius. One of his lawsuits had 57 pages of defendants. It was a free association of different celebreties, politicians organizations, objects and diseases. Just reading the list is hilarious.
