too). Think of him as "performance art".
The *worst* sin a Usenetter can committ is to be boring - and say what you will, he's never boring.
I get quite a kick of how he lays into some of the thin - skinned wonders that skulk around here
(and he's flamed me *plenty*, too).
This is just Usenet. I shudder to think how some of his constant detractors react to even the most
minor crises of their real daily lives, e.g. "EEK! A *mouse*....!!!". Would they cover their virgin
eyes whilst watching the film _Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?_? Or some saucy Briggite Bardot film
of the 50's...??? Bet so.
Just so y'all know, I am not "defending" him - I'm simply statin' an irrefutable fact :-)
Sorry, but you can't fairly call what Sheldon does "performance art"; it lacks the creativity needed
to earn that appelation. I mean, you
activities so many times before it gets stale. Perhaps if he came up with some new material?
Personally, I think of Sheldon as being Usenet's answer to the Jerry Springer show. He displays the
same bigoted, trash talking mentality and he gets old just as fast. :P
That said, Sheldon isn't worth getting anyone getting their panties in a bunch; kill file him and be
done with it like everyone else if he upsets you. It's not like there's anything you can actually do
to stop him from posting; but, as with the aforementioned trash TV, you can always turn it
off/change the channel. :P
