Let us hope he does better in the National 25 - breaking the hour must
be a target, but it would be a Big Embarrassment to be caught by young
    Greta.

No embarrassment anyway no matter who he is caught by.

At least she didn't catch him. 15-year old Greta did run him close, just a
few seconds behind, but it was a small field and with Nathan being one of
the oldest I would have hoped for a higher placing.

Greta (seems to be a nice lass: was speaking to her and her dad) was 34
seconds slower than Nathan, who actually passed all the riders who started
in front of him except the very first one, and went faster than someone
seeded well above him, so that's not bad going. As far as I'm concerned, he
took nearly two minutes off his pb for a 25, on a day when he was not 100%
due to a series of nasty vaccinations for a forthcoming trip abroad, which
have had him off the bike for most of the last fortnight. So no, I don't
actually hope for a higher placing, what I hope for him is to do the best
*he*can on any given day, and as far as I'm concerned to pull off a new pb
when he's not 100% fit is fine by me. As I've said before, he doesn't go by
other riders, he goes by his own personal times, getting fitter and enjoying
it, it matters not if he's first or last as long as he's doing *his* best,
and at the national 25, he did alright, and embarrassment doesn't come in to
the equation in any shape or form. The key is doing a sport he enjoys to the
best of his ability on any given day and enjoying having a go on different
    courses in different areas.

  2. Regarding the throttle options for electric bicycles, i noticed that some e bikes only have pedal assist sensor type throttle, where as in other countries there are actually hand twist throttles, so you dont have to pedal at all, if you dont want to. Or you can pedal too at your own pace.

Which option would you guys want?

I think it is really handy to have the hand twist throttle.

  3. Yes for the UK and European market, the Swiss Flyer and A to B are very high quality builds, really good engineering done on then, although i think the price is 10 times the amount you were looking at.
