Dumb things I've done #72:
I lost all me credit cards last week, including my Medicare and Bupa cards! The worst part was that, coz I'm such a deadbeat with no money and near-maxed-out credit, I hadn't used the any of the cards, or even my wallet (I rarely carry it), for about 10 days, so all the cards were missing for all that time!!!!!! Naturally, I discovered this 2am (why not? :-) ). Can you imagine the panic when I realized that they'd been lost for ten days (one of the cards still has some space on it)?!?!?! One of the cards is an add-on to one of my dad's accounts, so I had to ring him up at 2:30am to give him the "good" news. He was too happy, as you can imagine. Luckily, there was no activity on any of the cards, but it's still a big pains in the arses.
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I got a new driver's license, so I put my old license in with the stuff I carry on me bike (puncture stuff, etc, etc), obviously for ID. Can anyone guess where this is going? :-) Yesterday, I had my first puncture in ages, and when I opened me bag of bits on the bike, not only was my old license in there, but all the other cards were in there, too!!
Uuuugh! I obviously wasn't concentrating, and shoved all me cards in me cut-off drink bottle with the license?The take-home message: don't any of yooz dare try to tell anyone that I'm half-smart.
Hmmm, I rate this story as average-to-ok. I give it a pass, but......well....I rate it a weak 5.2

If you get all of True Tempers lightest S3 tubes and make a 52cm frame out of it, it will weigh under 1200g depending on how smart you are with the bits that weigh a lot, like the dropouts, bottom bracket, and braze-ons.However, as soon as you spec tubes for anyone that isn't 5ft 2ins, it very quickly heads towards 1500-1600g.
