So I was flicking through last year's pics for an event I'm doing this weekend and came across this gem

    [ATTACH=full]1229[/ATTACH]

I blame the spastic way all of them have set up their brake levers

  2. Ballarat is getting very old.

I tells ya, Keanon sounds like he's giving a eulogy most of the time, or reading John and Betty to kindergarten kids. Yeah, yeah, he's a good bloke (apparently), but his commentating annoys me 😄

Yeah I've said it quite often you have to team him up with someone a little left of centre.

Kate Bates is a fcuking pain in the [censored] and shouldnt be commentating mens road cycling (mostly because she is just a royal pain in the [censored]).

    Ashes to Ashes.

Obviously the last 18 months weren't his Golden Years

  5. Point Break.

Disaster. What a surprise. Spare usefies from the pain.

  6. Hello photoshop! Logo added to a few of Bobber's finish line shots.

    Historical post image

Did you take that photo, Vette? Nice one

Nah, nicked it off their web site. The photographer got the timing just right though

During the race, someone on Twitter mentioned that he was wearing last year's kit. Seems a bit disorganised, Mr SuckaFreddo will be [censored]!

  9. Do people really give a [censored] though? Nobody except we fangirls will notice this. The value of having the jersey all year and the story that goes with it is so much more.

Just like the chicks Specialised knicks being WAY too short on some of them.... and the word Specialised was upside down. It's lol. But nobody cares. Just like that retarded floral kit. It was honestly the worst [censored] you've ever seen. Yet people pretended to love it... for a while... then they went to the next-new-thing-maap.

Unless you're doing EPIC [censored] like Bobridge, nobody gives a [censored] about results. It's about being a good person. And there's a lot of [censored] who are out the [censored] on lap one of that race.

Dozens? I wonder if the fondo is the first step to stopping hubbards like me from entering?

Maybe they had them on backwards?

Ha, not bad. (what, too soon? 😄).
I've said before that I reckon he was grouse and is underrated. He's rarely mentioned when the topic of "best ever bands/singers" goes around. I reckon he's right up there with the best of the '70s.

Ha, "The yellow dot goes to the front" 😄

I reckon Evans' first World Champ bibs had the striped bit sewn on the bottom of some regular dacks, coz they were really long and a bit loose. Ha

  15. Oh poor essendon. Wah wah waaaaaah.

Here's a tip [censored]. Don't take dope in secret then play [censored] dumb.

Think of the vilification in the media Mark French copped. Ultimately French was exonerated, and he sued [censored] out of brayshaw and some other 3mmm mong and won hundreds and thousands. And here we are getting 'oh woe, poor essendon players' from the media. Guilty. Suck it.

  16. Tim Watson saying he can't see that there's any compelling evidence to show that the players are guilty.

Which just goes to show he doesn't get it or understand the process

Haha it's not like Timmy will have an unbiased opinion about the whole saga.

Just like you said classic, if you are knowingly having injections in secret of unspecified substances then you have to suck it up when the [censored] hits the fan.

  19. Surprised no one on here commented on the passing of Mark Gunter last year (I may have missed it though). That was a real shame.

Depends on where you draw the line. I think people are (rightly) fairly sentative about what is presented to them as 'news' - even news in marketing etc.

If you werent actually there as a sponsor and werent on the jersey that was actually worn in the moment - then as far as I am concerned you can [censored] right off. Get your [censored] together (and be on the jersey on the day) or [censored] and eat it.

Attempting to adjust reality to suit your vested interest is....unbecoming.

But yes the question stands - who does care about the road cycling business model of the 20th century. Goes hand in hand with the cycling administration model of the 20th century which we still love and trust...
