Quoted message said:Hi
I am using padded cycling shorts and find them to be fantastic for comfort, and the fact that they
are breathable makes a big difference.
However, as I am more used to Y-fronts rather than boxer type underpants I wondered if there are
any good padded Y-front style short-liners ?
Any advice gratefully received
Cycle shorts = sleek, modern, attractive [1] Y-fronts = old fashioned, ugly, a.k.a. "no
score drawers"
Both the above are based upon extensive research amongst cycling and non-cycling female friends.
Personal experience leads me to think that this, combined with the comfort factor of cycling shorts,
means that cycle shorts are the way to go.
Cheers,
Graeme
[1] with the possible exception of the red pair that I have. I'd worn them for a good few rides when
my wife pointed out that not only did they rather draw attention to my lower half, but they were
also so thin that more than just the outline was visible :-O
