2008. Arnold versus Hillary

Dumbass,

Do you know something everyone else doesn't? Kerry hasn't been elected (yet).

Yah, I cahn zee et nohw. "Hey Gerhard Schroder, why don't you quit being a
girlie man and send us troops to Iraq." Or, "Yah, I don't mind homosexuals
as long as they're two chicks in my jacuzzi." Even better, "I have no idea
what I'm doing as president...somebody should Terminate me."

Man, not even in a bad movie!

Oh Bill, don't get your panties in a wad...like I usually do. I have major
policy gripes with Arnold and view him as nothing more than an opportunist.

It amazes me that California ousted its previous governor when it was the
state legislature that passes all of those laws and was responsible for the
energy crisis.

A friend of mine owns a little Austrian restaurant in Plano. It's called
Jorg's Cafe Vienna. There's a shirt there I'd like to send you.

Dumbass (infinity!),

Just watch. I know more about polls than the average bear (not like Zogby),
and I'd bet the chamois on my butt that the voter turn out will not favor
Bush. Too many people jsut hate that man, his war in Iraq, and are still
****** off about Florida in 2000. The pendulum is swining to the "left"
(whatever that means) earlier than expected because Carl Rove previously
pushed it too far to the right. For every action there is an equal and
opposite reaction. That's the law of politics.

Dumbass,

My remarks were a quip that folks obeying moronic John Kerry to their demise are
a bunch of blind sour-pusses.

Hey--don't you remember Ahnold at the RNC: "Don't be economic
girlie-men!" He doesn't really need Phillip!

Thanks for the dose of reality. This, apparently, needed to be said.

Hey there Steven! Arnie can always use a lawyer the next time he grabs a
waitresses ass or feels up a woman at the gym! I could at least be in his
cabinet!

Dumbass -

Arnold's predecessor was completely ineffective.

He did not engage the Legislature at all.

Arnold, while not being particularly effective in passing anything
other than a middle-of-the-road agenda, has been a surprisingly
excellent politician. He's a charmer. He visits the legislators often,
in *their* offices and the result is that he has quite a bit of
influence with the power of his personality.

Personal power isn't always evident in public appearances. Both Bush
Sr. and B. Clinton had it, but you wouldn't know that from Bush Sr.'s
speeches - he was a crappy speech deliverer. I haven't heard Arnold
give a political speech yet, but the anecdotes of his personal charm
have been pouring out of the Capitol.

Dude's gonna be running for President when the amend the Constitution.
It's gonna be weird.

K. Gringioni.

So you think the woman who is HATED by huge portions of the populace would
look good next to the beloved box office superstar? Arnold is a self-made
man, and Hillary rode Bill's coattails. Not even close. If the Democrats
want a Dukakis style crushing defeat, running Hillary is a good way to do
that. They need to move toward the middle, not the far left.

Hey dumbass
Thanks, the only thing is that I expected him to do well.
This is how he's always been.

After holding court among the bodybuilder and hollywood crowd, and honing
those skills, the poofters in politics probably seem like chum to his white
shark.

Dunno, it could be the reverse, maybe they've seen it all, but he's still
able to be KOTM, and enjoying it more? Still I phear a hidden evil side to
him. You think?

I'm still upset at how he treated my nice classmate Lou Ferrigno in
"Pumping Iron".

Cool, you went to school with Lou? Everything I've ever heard from anybody
about him has been positive. He really seems to be a genuine good guy. Too bad
Arnold psyched him out badly but that's the way competition goes.

We weren't close. It was a very big high school (Brooklyn Tech), and
as you surely know he is speech and hearing-impaired. I knew nothing
about body building, but at about 16 he was already pretty big and scary
looking.
And he could run for president right now!

In Columbus there are more people registered to vote than there are people
of voting age in the county. Odd (some of this is because voter rolls are
rarely purged).

Sam,

That's just not true, dude. I spent a lot of time in Cuyahoga, Hamilton and
other counties in Ohio and am up on the voting situation there. Total b.s.,
I promise you.
